SHEET MASKS AND BIOCELLULOSE

1. WHAT IS A SHEET MASK?

Sheet masks are face-shaped fabric masks infused with a nutrition-packed solution called serum. The sheet is made up of variety of materials including papers, fibers or gel types. They are generally used once and are individually packaged, making them fast, convenient, and easy to use.

2. HOW DO I USE SHEET MASKS?

It’s very easy! Apply to cleansed face, leave for 20-30 minutes, take it off and enjoy! You can use as often as you want through the week and you don’t need to rinse after applying, in fact you shouldn’t rinse it off.

3. HOW DOES SHEET MASK WORK?

The sheet is infused with concentrated serum, containing a mixture of ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, botanicals, vitamins etc. These are absorbed while the mask is in place, and afterwards.

4. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

The sheet on your face helps the serum to soak in your skin more effectively. Basically, sheet masks are inexpensive compared to going to a spa, convenient, easy to apply, and bring a glowing effect on your skin.

5. WHAT ARE THEY MADE FROM?

Various types of fabric are used for sheet masks. These are the most common:

*Non-woven fibre – Inexpensive, hard to move around, low capacity to deliver serum into the skin.

*Cotton – Inexpensive, hard to move around, low capacity to deliver serum into the skin (but better than the non-woven fibre).

*Hydrogel – Costly, great absorption system, gel-type consistency, two separate parts (top and bottom) to apply on face, hard to move around but fits the shape of the face well.

*Bio-cellulose – Expensive, all-natural material, adheres to the skin well, better absorption properties, easy to move around.

Forever Living’s fabulous mask uses the superior bio-cellulose material (of course!) and through a process unique to Forever, Aloe Bio-cellulose Mask’s formula fuses pure aloe and seagrass with the bio-cellulose fabric to soothe, soften and condition skin. Aloe is wonderful on the skin but this environmentally-friendly mask has also been enriched with a moisturising serum of green tea and horse chestnut that rejuvenates dull skin by combating the signs of ageing and reducing the appearance of redness.

And if that’s not enough, the excess serum in the pouch can be used on any other dry skin on the body, neck, chest etc, or on flyaway hair as a conditioner. And the mask can be recycled afterwards, and composted.
